ohanian.devThis policy covers the personal, self-hosted Home Assistant instance described on the home page, and the Google Cloud project it uses to reach Google's APIs.
The instance is operated by one person for one household. There are no other users, no accounts, and no way for anyone else to sign up. The only Google account it ever connects to is the operator's own.

How access is granted
Access is authorized by the account owner through Google's standard OAuth 2.0 consent flow. The resulting access and refresh tokens are stored by Home Assistant on the household's own hardware, on a private home network. They are not transmitted anywhere else.
How the data is used and stored
- Data is used only to provide home automation features to the household.
- It is stored on hardware physically located in the household, on a private network.
- It is not copied to any hosted service, cloud database, or server operated by anyone else.
- It is not used to train any machine learning or AI model.
- It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.
Sharing and transfer
Google user data obtained by this application is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third party. There are no analytics providers, no advertising networks, no data brokers, and no third-party processors involved.
Limited Use disclosure. ohanian.dev's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Because everything is stored locally, deletion is entirely under the account owner's control. Authorization can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions. When access is revoked, the stored tokens stop working immediately and any Google-derived data held by the instance is removed when the corresponding integration is deleted from Home Assistant. Deleting the instance, or the hardware it runs on, deletes the data with it.
This website
ohanian.dev is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no JavaScript, embeds no third-party content, and uses no analytics. It does not collect personal information from visitors. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes request logs as part of delivering and protecting the site.
Children
This is a private household system that is not offered to the public, and it is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
